Never in a million years would I think I’d fall for a flowery scent — I’ve always been drawn to gourmand, peppery, incense-like creations. Yet Carner’s floral perfumes are in a world of their own. They feel like a breath of fresh, soapy air dancing through your nostrils — clean, elegant, and full of character. I’ve completely fallen for Danzatoria.
My first encounter with the brand was Volcano in Belgrade. Rose & Dragon isn’t exactly my cup of tea — a touch too sweet for my taste — but I still enjoy it, especially because of its symbolism: it reminds me of a rare white rose from my garden and has a mysterious, symbolic edge that keeps me intrigued.
My next one — a birthday gift to myself — shall be Drakon. Oh gosh, I love that dark, heavy, yet somehow airy scent of leather and all those mysterious notes that blend so perfectly together. It’s one of those perfumes that embodies everything I adore in fragrance — it’s there, then it isn’t, and just when you forget it, it strikes you again.
