DISCOVERY SET

I got the discovery set of Carner because I heard a lot about them in socials and from fellow smelly water enthusiasts.

I feel like it’s a brand rooted in authenticity and creativity that’s captures the essence of the traditional Mediterranean culture while also being up to date and very modern. A great and a difficult combination to pull off.
Now let’s get to the fun part.
Extremely impressed with the set. For me the Cuirs perfume was the star. It’s bold but elegant, smooth but with a strong opening classy bet yet mysterious. Leather and sandalwood is the star here with the Oud and the Patcouli complimenting everything the saffron in the beginning and the tonka in the end make for a very well rounded experience and an elegant masterpiece for every collection out there.
Now to the freshies. Sal y Limón and Bo-Bo are the most unisex and beautiful layering additions as well. They are greatly blended and will make you feel very fresh especially in this Mediterranean summer heat.
But if we are being honest the real diamond in the freshies is Marbella. A bit more feminine leaning for the fellas but nonetheless a fresh fragrance that you will remember forever. Imagine going out in the summer for a drink in the Greek islands and capturing everyone’s attention. The peony with the addition of peach makes for a combination that will definitely linger in people’s minds for a long time. Sexy, sexy and sexy.

Definitely get the set for yourself and decide which ones you like the best because it is pretty subjective after all. This brand is a gem and affordable as well. You don’t have to be rich to smell good.

So to sum up Cuirs, Sal y limon, Bo-Bo and Marbella are my recommendations. Keep on smelling! <3

I got the discovery set because I'd read and heard great things about Carner but I'm apprehensive to purchase full sizes blindly even if the notes sound great (I can get terrible nausea and headaches even from fragrances I initially like). I have to say, I don't think I've ever tried a sample set where I liked almost every fragrance! I prefer citrusy, fresh and aquatic fragrances and Carner is perfect for someone like me. My favorites from this set are Sal y Limon, Marbella and Bo Bo - I think I'm going to get full sizes of all of them because they fit my style really well, are distinctive and last quite long on me. I also like Tardes as a warm and comforting scent for the colder season. This experience has made me very excited to try out the other scents from Carner!

It is baffling that Carner is not more well-known. The discovery set is well curated, and you can truly comprehend the scent profiles that Carner offers. It is surprisingly broad considering the imagery you encounter at first. The price is great, and you get just about enough for the beginning (though, let's be honest, when you are obsessed with perfumes, nothing is enough). I also combined this set with a miniature set that they offer, which gave me three more perfumes to try. The experience feels like you are paying far more, and the fact that you get the whole amount back when you find the scent you like makes this a great investment. Now the only problem is which one to choose first!
